Maple Glazed Ham

2/3 cup bourbon or whiskey

1 cup maple syrup

½ cup orange juice

1 5 lb. bone in ham, fully cooked, unsliced

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1/3 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium saucepan heat bourbon, honey, brown sugar and orange juice over low heat for 15 minutes or until reduced by half, stirring occasionally.  Set aside.

With a sharp knife, cut a diamond pattern on the fatty part of the ham.  Spread glaze over the ham and roast for about 2 hours.  Place lid on Dutch Oven and cover with top coals to brown if desired.  Use a meat thermometer to make the meat reaches 160 degrees.  Usually about 20 minutes per pound.

When measuring honey, spray measuring cup with nonstick cooking spray to keep measurements accurate.
