Fried Corn

 

12 ears of sweet corn shucked, kernals cut from cob, and scrap the cob with knife

3 tablespoons of bacon grease

3 slices of fat back (Salt Pork)

2 tablespoons of water

2 tablespoons of flour

salt and pepper to taste

 

After cutting and scrapping corn from cob.  Add water and flour mix well.  In a pre-heated skillet add bacon grease and fat back.  Cook fat back until brown.  Add corn to skillet and bring to a boil, reduce and cook 30 minutes.
