Foil Grouper Packets

2 Grouper Fillets (or other firm white fish)

1 stick of butter (sliced into pats)

¼ cup lemon juice

1 – 2 thinly sliced lemons

salt and pepper to taste

granulated garlic to taste

 

On large piece of foil, place pats of butter down the length of the fillet, place fillet on top of butter pats.  Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic to taste.  Drizzle lemon juice on the fillet.  Place additional pats of butter on top of fillet.  Top with lemon slices.  Fold foil to create a pouch.  Place over medium high heat.  Cook for 20 - 30 minutes  (depending on size and thickness of fillet), or until fillet is flaky.   Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
